Dawson (James Van Der Beek) and Joey (Katie Holmes) throw a Halloween party in New York for family and friends. Jack (Kerr Smith) and Doug (Dylan McNeal) join the party after deciding that they need a breather from the stresses of daily life. Two masked party goers play a game of cat and mouse, a game that ends with a surprise neither expected. Everyone's night of fun turns frightening when it appears that the party has been invaded by an uninvited guest. Also starring Wilmer Valderrama, Chyler Leigh and Busy Phillips.

707 - "Lose Your Way"

Joey (Katie Holmes) gets a promotion at work and is thrown a cocktail party to celebrate her success. Not feeling well, she asks Dawson (James Van Der Beek) to take her home, which ultimately leads her to make a surprising confession. A normal day for Jack (Kerr Smith) is interrupted by a crisis involving Amy, which could have disastrous results. Meanwhile, Pacey (Joshua Jackson) is enjoying his new job in New Orleans but after a night in town with his boss, he is starting to reconsider certain things he has done in the past. Back in NY city, Samantha (Chyler Leigh) and Ethan's (Wilmer Valderrama ) relationship continues to grow. Also starring Mary Beth Peil, Busy Philips and Meredith Monroe.

708 - "I Do"

The gang reunites in Capeside for a long awaited event were their futures will yet again be intertwined in ways that just may change all of their lives forever. While Andie (Meredith Monroe) and Audrey (Busy Phillips) meet for the first time, Jack (Kerr Smith) struggles with his anxiety over his future with Amy, not realizing he may get some help from the people he least expected it from: Bessie and Bodie. Not only that, but Pacey (Joshua Jackson) offers Joey's father a job opportunity. While all this happens, Joey (Katie Holmes) struggles with some inner demons, and in the end she decides to open herself up to the future. A future that seems to include Dawson (James Van Der Beek) in more ways than one, even though he is unaware of it. Nina Repetta, Gareth Williams, Obi Ndefo and Dylan Neal also star.

709 - "Surrounded"

It's time to give thanks in Capeside. After an emotional meeting of the whole gang to remember a very special lost friend, everyone gets ready to spend some time with family and closest friends. While Joey (Katie Holmes) and her family spend their Thanksgiving with Dawson (James Van Der Beek) and his family, Jack (Kerr Smith) and Andie (Meredith Monroe) spend it at the Witter household, with Grams and Amy. Things at the old Leery house are going well, until an unexpected moment occurs between Dawson and Joey. At the Witter's, the atmosphere is awkward, until they receive a last hour guest for dinner. Mary Beth Peil, Mary Marget Humes, Sasha Alexander, Gareth Williams and Dylan Neal also star.

710 - "When We Collide"

Christmas has arrived in old Capeside, and everything at the Potter B&B is ready for the night. It will be a time when old friends and family will meet and enjoy the season together. A day filled with best wishes, Christmas carols… and much more. Jack (Kerr Smith) finally makes up his mind about his current life situation, which leaves behind a hurt Doug (Dylan Neal). As the evening passes, Pacey (Joshua Jackson), Andie (Meredith Monroe) and Audrey (Busy Phillips) grow closer and closer. Dawson (James van Der Beek) and Gretchen (guest star Sasha Alexander) grow closer as well, if only for old times sake. This doesn't go unnoticed by Joey (Katie Holmes), which might lead to unexpected events, where the line between her and her best friend may be crossed once again. Gareth Williams, Mary Beth Peil, Mary Margaret Humes and Nina Repeta also star.

711 - "Aftershocks"

And what is more important: they will start dreaming about the future.

Meanwhile, Pacey (Joshua Jackson) has a confrontation with Brecher that may lead him to reconsider his future in New Orleans. As problems hit, as they always do to the Capeside group, Ethan (Wilmer Valderrama) and Samantha (Chyler Leigh) keep growing closer. Also starring Mary Beth Pail, Busy Phillips and Meredith Monroe.

To top it off, Jack not only has to deal with losing his daughter, but also with the decision he made regarding his love life. While in the Ice House, Pacey (Joshua Jackson) receives a call form Andie (Meredith Monroe) with some exciting news. Also in Capeside, Grams (Mary Beth Pail) makes a decision regarding her granddaughter that gives hope to Jack (Kerr Smith). Back to New York City, Audrey (Busy Phillips) faces her present as Sam (Chyler Leigh) and Ethan (Wilmer Valderrama) confront their pasts.

718 - "Heart and Soul"

Dawson (James Van Der Beek) thinks he has found his own way to help Jack (Kerr Smith) who is beyond shocked when a certain person returns to the picture, and more than anything, when he thinks he is related to Amy. Meanwhile, Pacey (Joshua Jackson) and Andie (Meredith Monroe) try to cheer up their friend Audrey (Busy Phillips) as they start working in Pacey´s new business. 720 - "Thinking over"

At the same time in Boston, Pacey (Joshua Jackson) is having the opening of his restaurant in a very special event organized by Andie (Meredith Monroe). Back to Capeside, Jack (Kerr Smith) learns that Doug is going on with his life in a way he didn't expect which causes Jack to resolve his feelings about the recent development. Special guest stars: Mary Margaret Humes, Busy Phillips, Dylan Neal and Mary Beth Peil.
